Respect for all Header.jpg

Calling all players, coaches, parents & supporters…

Your Premier Club, WACA, and Cricket Australia need your help to inspire all

West Australians to love cricket!

To do this, we need to:

  • Respect all involved in the Cricket Community at training, game day and in the car ride home. This includes:

  • Players*

  • Umpires

  • Coaches*

  • Parents*

  • Supporters of both teams*

  • Remember, cricket is a game for us all to enjoy.

  • Focus on the team and individual effort of player’s and what they learned rather than winning or losing. Everyone is trying their best.

  • Remember that children learn best by example. Appreciate good performances and skillful play by all participants.

  • Any remarks should be strictly limited to encouragement. There will be ZERO tolerance of verbal, non-verbal or physical abuse directed at anyone involved both on or off the field.

  • Show appreciation for volunteer coaches, officials and administrators. Without them, your child could not participate.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

Please remember:

Your Premier Club, District Junior Cricket Council, WACA & Umpires will be monitoring the behavior of all involved at every match throughout the season.

Failure to adhere to the philosophies and behaviours listed above will result in repercussions for you and your club which may include fines, suspensions or deregistration.
