Brad Hogg has accepted the role of Batting and Spin Bowling coach of Willetton District cricket club.

Recently appointed to the WACA as development coach, Brad will spend valuable one on one time with Willetton’s up and coming batsmen and spinners.

Hogg played seven Tests, 123 one-day internationals and two Twenty20 internationals for his country, as well as representing his state in 75 first class, 78 one-day and four domestic Twenty20 matches. His decorated career included playing in Australia’s 2003 and 2007 ICC World Cup victories and the triumphant 2006 Champions Trophy team, as well as two domestic one-day victories for WA.

Hogg played 93 games at Willetton taking 93 wickets and scoring over 4000 runs, and see’s his role as very similar to his role at the WACA in developing young talent in preparation, training and technique ready to play at the next level.

Brad will also be available for Willetton in their quest for another 20/20  title this year with the final to be played at the WACA as lead in to the KFC Big Bash game.
