Pre-season will take place this season at the Southern cricket academy – The Rec Farrington Rd Leeming.

The centre has 7 Nets with excellent lighting video analysis and 4 bowling machines. Upstairs the bowlers have a 12 metre run up allowing a serious pre-season.

Dates and times have been allocated for Willetton and they are below.

Juniors – Saturdays 11-1 pm and Sundays  1pm – 3pm

The price for 8 x 2 hour sessions is $200 which equates to $12.50 per hour, with 8 coaches. This Pre-season will be specifically batting and bowling, it is expected that your fitness levels will be high. 

You are to go to www.southerncricket.net and book and pay on-line for either Saturday or Sunday training by clicking either of the two links on the right hand side of the front page – 31st of july onwards is the Saturday sessions and August 1st is our Sunday sessions.

Whilst initial squads have been picked there is the opportunity to force your way into 2010/11 squads with impressive performances at the pre-season.

We have use of the full facility including 8 nets and 4 bowling machines complete with 12 coaches allowing for one one specific work.

Tom Hansell will be running the complete pre-season program at the centre and teams will train in their various age groups.
