Willetton’s under 13’s Inverarity side have beaten Wanneroo in the Semi Final  to progress to the Grand Final vs  Midland Guildford.

The stars of the Match for Willetton were with the bat Ben McAullay 41 and captain Aaron Hardie 28 and with the ball Josh Brown and Connor Wall both with 2-11 off 8 overs and Vadit Vashisht 1-8 off 6. Fielding was also very good with direct hit run out to Scott Sanderson, run out by Josh Brown and 2 excellent stumpings by Cooper Isailovich. Ellis Cassidy and and Cam Becker saw the baby dragons over the line with 8 balls to spare.

The side hope to emulate the 2003/4 side that won the flag, that side was Captained by Mitchell Marsh and had current A Grade players Nick Geisler, Cam Bancroft, Chris Chellew, Josh Nicholas.
