The 13’s Inverarity side have remained unbeaten on top of the ladder with their second “down to the wire’ win, after beating the strong South Perth with 2 balls to spare last game, they needed 90 off 20 over’s with 7 wickets in hand, needing 40 off the last 7 over’s and 7 wickets down Ravi Gunaratne and Scott Sanderson shared a run a ball 50 partnership to win the game from a seemingly un-winnable position.
Earlier in the day Leg Spinning all-rounder Josh Brown pegged Perth back from 0 – 53 going at 5 an over to take 3 for 16 off 8 over’s and Opening Bowler’s Ellis Cassidy 2-22 and Cameron Becker 1-9 took regular wickets and kept the run rate down as Perth were heading for 160 plus.
