Our Club

The West Perth Cricket Club was a foundation member of the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA), established in 1889. In 1984 the West Perth Cricket Club transferred to the Willetton area and became the Willetton District Cricket Club, part of the Willetton Sports Club.

Willetton District Cricket Club’s aim is to promote cricket within the community, from junior levels through to seniors, providing the opportunity to play cricket at the highest level available in Western Australia, within the team environment and the traditions of cricket. Our club coach, Aaron Harwood, was named A Grade coach of the year in 2005/06 and 2009/10 and is a level 3 coach, puts him in the top echelon of coaches in Australia; he is also a former A Grade all-rounder at the club. He has been appointed on the WACA under 17’s State coaching panel for the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons.

Our Board consists of successful businessmen and ex-players, keen to see the club continue its development of local talent, through the junior ranks and into Senior and State cricket
